Students:

The 2016 – 2017 yearbooks have arrived. They can be purchased in the school office for $25.00.

The freshmen and sophomore Mixer will be on Friday, September 8, at River’s Bend Campground in Rock Valley. The students will leave school after 6th period and need to be picked up at 9:00 P.M. Students need to have their money turned in to their class sponsors by tomorrow! We look forward to this time of fellowship!

There are a handful of student Bibles and Psalters that have been turned in to the office. Stop by to claim yours if you are missing one.

Juniors and seniors interested in the Trinity Christian College bus trip to their campus (Oct. 28-30) may find more information on the college’s website. The registration deadline is Sept. 21.

Students planning on taking the Oct. 28 ACT are reminded of the September 22 registration deadline.

General Announcements:

Reminder, it is the last day to order cross country and volleyball apparel on the web store!!

The junior and senior classes thank everyone for their generous support of the pancake breakfast. Freewill donations were $2530.

The Parents’ Circle committees are slowly filling up. We have a few more positions to fill. Of particular need is the refreshment committee (for after PC meetings, concerts, and conferences) and the teacher appreciation committee. Let the office know that you are interested and we’ll put you on the list.

From the Athletic Director:

Still looking for people willing to help out at home volleyball games taking admission. Need 3 people yet for Thursday night’s home match. Please let Mr VE know if you can help out as soon as possible.

Trinity Robotics Announcements:

Trinity’s Robotics team (BZbots) will be hosting a Season Kick-off event for area teams.  This event will include small sectionals for teams to teach each other about the Robotics program.  If you are interested in how a season of robotics unfolds and what all goes into a robotics team, come and join us on September 9 from 8:30 a.m. to noon.  There will be some general sectionals to outline the robotics program for parents, grandparents, brothers, sisters, and anyone else who is interested.  If you plan on attending you can sign up at https://goo.gl/forms/lqoy2aSKU6H2z6yl2 , or just show up.  If you have any questions contact Mr. Westra jwestra@trinitychs.org.

Advance Notice: There will be a Financial Aid information meeting for juniors, seniors, and their parents the evening of October 5 at Trinity. It will be after the volleyball game and last about one hour.
