Trinity Memo 2.22.22

Students:

 Seniors, the journalism class is missing a number of items for the senior portraits yearbook pages yet.  Please submit your senior picture as soon as possible.  Additionally, senior quotes and baby pictures are due to Maddy (mvanginkel@trinitychs.org) by Friday, March 11.

Juniors, just a reminder that this Friday, February 25, is the last day to register for the April 2 ACT test without paying a late fee.  Just go to ACT.org.

The robotics team had a fine showing last week in Coralville, but they did not advance in the competition. Congratulations to Coach Toby Boogerd and his squad for a fine season.

General:

The freshmen and sophomore classes at Trinity Christian are organizing a volleyball tournament (Co-ed teams of 6, high school and older) for Friday evening, March 11, at 6:00 p.m. All are invited to the free-will donation event to enjoy lasagna and ice cream, watch volleyball, and enjoy good fellowship. All tournament teams must register by Monday, March 7. The registration fee for the tournament teams is $10/person. The cost will be doubled for late registration, so sign up now! Trinity Christian High School of Hull, IA, is seeking teacher applicants for the 2022-2023 school year. Our particular needs are math and Spanish. Parent Circle Update:  All the parent’s Circle committee provide a service for Trinity Christian High School, however the Concessions and Apparel committees bring in funds for the Parents Circle to purchase items, with the school board’s approval, for Trinity Christian High School.  At the last Parents Circle meeting on April 14, 2021 the Parent Circle approved the following six purchases; basketball uniforms, batting cage, beverage cooler, concessions freezer, library shelves, and ventilation fans for the gym.  These purchases combined totaled nearly $17,000 in support for the school.
