Students:
In God’s covenant faithfulness, the commencement exercises for the fifth graduating class of Trinity Christian High School are scheduled for Wednesday, May 18, 7:00 PM, at the high school. All are welcome to join us for this joyous occasion. Professor Dykstra will be the speaker.
Freshmen, sophomores and juniors will have exams on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday according to the posted schedule. There are a few matters to note. First, the students may come to school in time for their first exam, and they may leave after their last exam for the day, but they may not be coming and going throughout the day. Secondly, the teachers will be in the building and available for questions and review during regular school hours. Students are encouraged to use this resource as they prepare for exams. The last exam should be finished by noon on Friday.
Fourth quarter report cards will be available for viewing at noon on Wednesday, May 25.
Seniors who need a final transcript sent to a college should fill out the form requesting such and turn it in to the office.
The first day scheduled for students for the 2016-2017 school year is Tuesday, August 23.
Congratulations to Alexa Meyer for being chosen as an Outstanding Performance at the IHSMA Solo and Ensemble Festival held at George Little Rock on April 18. Her clarinet solo performance gave her the opportunity to play her piece again at a recital held at Iowa State University this past Wednesday.
Congratulations go out to sophomore Andrew De Boer for earning 2nd Team All-Conference Golf Honors! Andrew was one of twenty golfers (and the only sophomore) in the War Eagle Conference that earned this honor. Congratulations, Andrew, on the achievement and on an excellent season in golf.

The robotics team is looking for a coach(s) to guide them through the 2016/17 FTC season. A coach need not be an expert in engineering or robotics, but some basic understanding of how things work will help. A desire to motivate and encourage students to explore talents from building the robot to managing time and developing speaking or game strategy skills is valuable. We need dedicated adults who are willing to invest some of their time to help students see new opportunities and have a lot of fun doing it. The First Tech Challenge organization has an abundance of helpful resources to support developing teams and coaches. http://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/ftc. For further information or questions regarding this need for a robotics coach, please contact Jim Regnerus 712) 439-1921/jregnerus@trinitychs.org) or Henry Van Maanen (712)578-1101 or jacques5@hickorytech.net).
