General Announcements:

Athletic Dept.: I would like to give a great big THANK YOU to everyone that volunteered and helped out at home basketball games this season. Your help made each game night go as smooth as possible. I appreciate the willingness to give of your time and help out. Thanks for all you did in every big and small way!!!!!!   Mr. Van Engen, Athletic Director.

Congratulations to Collin Heynen on being selected to the All-State All-Academic team for the state of Iowa. This is an award that is given to the top 25 male high school basketball players in the state of Iowa in all four classes. Collin was selected out of a total of 150 nominated student-athletes in the entire state. The award is given to those who have excelled both in the classroom as well as on the basketball floor. Collin currently holds a 3.963 GPA in the classroom and finished with averages of 22 points and 17 rebounds per game on the basketball court. Collin, along with the other 24 selected members, will receive this award at halftime of the boys 2A state championship game in Des Moines on Friday, March 11. Congratulations to Collin on this outstanding achievement and for excelling in both the classroom and on the basketball court.

Plan on a blessed night of song for Thursday, April 14. The choirs of Covenant Christian High School, Loveland Protestant Reformed Christian High School, and Trinity Christian High School will be giving a combined choral concert in the BJ Haan Auditorium at Dordt College. It promises to be an enjoyable event. All are welcome!

Faith Christian School in Randolph, WI will be holding its annual Hostess Supper the evening of April 1, 2016.  Trinity’s junior/senior choir will be traveling to Randolph to provide the after-dinner entertainment. Although it is quite a distance to travel, all are welcome to join them for the fellowship and entertainment.

The Hostess Supper has been raising funds for the future building expansions of FCS for over 15 years.  FCS plans to begin an expansion soon to their current facility to accommodate the grade school classroom needs and the needs of the high school, planned to begin in 2017.
