Trinity Memo 9.16.16

Students:

We will have a chapel on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 12:45 PM. Please note the different time. All are invited to join us.

This week Wednesday marks the mid-term point of this first marking period. This would be a good time to use JMC to check your child’s progress. (No shame in contacting the office for your password again. We’ve all done it.)

Picture day for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors will be Wednesday, Sept 28. Order forms will be sent home today. Because there is a specific code for each student, forms are needed even if you plan to order online.

We will have a 2:30 dismissal on Thursday.

We will be hosting a financial aid night for about one hour after the volleyball game this Thursday, Sept. 22.

Reminder: Tuesday’s Cross Country meet is at NCC, not at the golf course.

A representative from Calvin College will be here to meet with interested seniors on Friday at 11:30 AM.

General Announcements:

The dental screening required of 9th graders are slowly coming in. If you have not brought one to the office yet, please remember that we have to get that taken care of before the end of the semester.

The concession stand still needs five workers for Thursday night’s volleyball game.  There are two spots available during the JV game and all three spots for the Varsity game.   If we don’t have anyone sign up for slots during the Varsity game, we will close the concession stand once the game begins.  Contact Laura Kuiper to claim your spot.

The last volleyball home game will be on Oct. 4.  We will need workers for that night as well; 3 workers for during the JV game and 3 for during the Varsity game.  Contact Laura Kuiper or Stephanie Van Engen if you are able to help.

The concession committee is STILL in URGENT NEED of more committee members.   If you have not signed up for any Parent Circle committee, please consider helping out on this worthwhile committee.  Many hands make light work!

Parents Circle is planning to hold the supper and auction again this fall.  More information will be coming in the next few weeks.  We ask that you consider donating to the auction-be it a material gift that is purchased or a gift that is handmade.
