Students:
Tonight and tomorrow are Parent-Teacher Conferences. A schedule has been sent to each family. If you did not sign up for a conference and are not on the schedule, you are free to come and use the open slots. We look forward to focusing on your student’s progress.
Parents are invited to check out the impressive display of lost and found items.
2015 – 2016 yearbooks are for sale for $25. You may purchase one at conferences if you wish.
We are ending our first quarter of instruction on October 18. Report cards should be available for your viewing on JMC no later than noon on October 20.
School will not be in session Tuesday noon through Friday as teachers attend the convention. Classes will resume on Monday, October 24.
General Announcements:
Our teachers will be travelling to the annual PRTI Teachers’ Convention this week. The convention is hosted by the Protestant Reformed Christian School (grade school) and Heritage Christian High School of Dyer, Indiana. We pray that our teachers may enjoy safety in travel along with growth and encouragement in their callings as they attend the convention. Miss Heynen and Mr. Regnerus will be presenting sectionals.
From the athletic department:
- The volleyball Regionals begin tomorrow night, Tuesday, Oct 18 in Hartley at 7:00 PM. Admission is $6 for all ages. If they win, the next round will be on Monday, Oct 24, at LeMars Gehlen.
- Our cross country team will be competing in the District meet in Holstein on Thursday, Oct 20. A bus will be leaving from Trinity by 1:00 PM; the first 25 students to sign up by today may ride for $2.00.
The Parents’ Circle of Trinity Christian High School will have their fall meeting the evening of Monday, October 24, at 7:30 pm. For the program, Rev. Engelsma will address us on the timely topic of “Liberal Arts?: The Content of Covenant Instruction.” A brief business meeting will follow. Members, new members, and guests are welcome to join us.
