The school Board is excited to report that a teaching contract has been offered to Mrs. Joy De Vries to replace Mrs. Kassandra Brummel after the Brummel baby is born! Mrs. De Vries has a baccalaureate degree in nutrition and food science with a minor in chemistry, along with the beginnings of teacher training, from South Dakota State University. If you know Mrs. De Vries, then you will understand how she modestly suggests the Board keep advertising the position. The Board intends to do that, but continued advertising does not dampen our enthusiasm for Mrs. De Vries, nor does it lessen our heartfelt desire that she be lead to accept the contract offered. If you would like to encourage Mrs. De Vries to accept the position, she may be contacted at 515-518-4591 or jddevries@alliancecom.net

Plan now to attend the first ever ALUMNI BASKETBALL GAMES on Saturday, October 26. First, beginning at 5:30, our 2019-2020 girls team will take on former TCHS hoopsters. A boys game will follow that around 7:00 involving the 2019-2020 team playing TCHS players from the past. It should be a fun and exciting evening!! Make sure to come for supper as well as the senior class will be grilling up some delicious foods for everyone to enjoy! Please mark this event on your calendars and plan now to attend as we welcome our former players back to TCHS! Admission is FREE…

The 65th annual Protestant Reformed Teachers’ Institute (PRTI) convention is approaching! The dates are October 17 & 18. Trinity Christian High will be the hosting venue.
• The HPRCS Guild and the NWIPRS Circle are working on the food.• There are two MI teachers looking for a ride from and to the Sioux Falls airport. They arrive 9:00 PM Wednesday and return 4:00 PM on Friday. Contact the school office if you can help with either their arrival or departure.• We will gladly accept the lending of any outdoor flower boxes or planters. We had a miserable crop failure with our own flowers this fall. Kindly lend us the fruits of your own green thumb for a few days, and we can improve the visage of the whole approach to school.
