Students:

There will be a 2:30 dismissal on Thursday, October 24.
First quarter report cards will be emailed to our homes by noon on Friday, October 25.

General:

The Trinity Christian High School Parent’s Circle will hold its fall meeting on Monday, October 21, at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Regnerus and Mrs. Bloemendaal will be giving a presentation regarding Trinity’s guidance counseling program with a question and answer time to follow. Visitors and prospective new members are welcome to join us.

The hosting of the annual PRTI convention went tremendously well last week thanks to a lot of people stepping up and selflessly giving of their time and abilities. Food, decorating, pumpkins, set-up and take-down, hosting teachers, and all the many other details that go into a successful convention were handled by our locals with their usual excellence. On behalf of the PRTI, we sincerely thank you for your efforts. The convention was edifying for the teachers, giving us renewed zeal in our labors with God’s covenant young people.

Mrs. Joy De Vries has signed a contract to take the place of Mrs. Brummel after the baby is born. Mrs. Brummel plans to teach until delivery, which is due about Nov. 11.

Plan now to attend the first ever ALUMNI BASKETBALL GAMES on Saturday, October 26. First, beginning at 5:30 pm, our 2019-2020 girls team will take on former TCHS hoopsters. A boys game will follow at about 7:00 involving the 2019-2020 team playing TCHS players from the past. It should be a fun and exciting evening!! Supper will be available the entire evening. The senior class will be serving up hot-off-the grill hamburgers and smoked pork loin sandwiches, as well as salads and baked beans! There will also be ice cream sundaes for dessert. Additionally, the seniors will be providing a “babysitting service” for those who don’t want to miss the excitement of this night. There will be a “nursery room” for your little ones at school, or leave the kiddos home and have a responsible senior or two come and care for them and put them to bed while you enjoy the night out. Charge for this service is “pay as you see fit or are able”. If you wish a baby sitter to come to your house, please contact Mr. Van Engen at kvanengen@trinitychs.org. There will also be a silent auction of baked goods that will be set up in the lobby. All proceeds for this evening for all activities go towards the senior class. Please mark this event on your calendars and plan now to attend as we welcome our former players back to TCHS! Admission is FREE…
