Rev. Kortus will lead us in chapel this morning at 11:30. All are welcome to join us.
Students will be dismissed at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, the 19th, for Parent-Teacher conferences. There will be no school Wednesday through Friday, Oct. 20-22, so that teachers can travel to and attend the annual PRTI Teacher’s Convention.
Tuesday, October 19, marks the end of the first quarter. Report cards will be emailed to parents no later than noon on Tuesday, October 26.
Parent-teacher conferences are this afternoon, tonight, and tomorrow afternoon. Many parent-teacher conferences are tonight. The district volleyball game is tonight also. Both are at Trinity. Hence there are a few things to be aware of concerning conferences:
- It is important to remember that the conferences will be in classrooms and offices, and not in the gym. Look for the bright green signs to find the teachers.
- Further, there will not be bells ringing every seven minutes as we have had in the past. Please yield to each teacher’s timekeeping so that we stay on schedule and can have a profitable evening. We strive as home and school to work for the good of our covenant young people.
Teachers will be travelling to Michigan this week for the annual PRTI convention. Last year’s convention was cancelled due to COVID, so we especially look forward to this year’s time of learning, encouragement, and spiritual growth. Covenant Christian High School is hosting this year and the theme is “Remembering the Days of Old” from Deuteronomy 32:7.
Mark your calendars to attend the alumni basketball game at 6:00 on Friday, November 5. More details in next week’s memo!
Advanced Notice: The Freshman class will be hosting a fundraiser at the Hull Pizza Ranch on Monday, November 8, from 5 to 7 p.m. Plan to come out and support the Freshman class of 2025!
From the AD:
Congratulations to Jacob Kuiper and Carter Westra who placed 14th and 15th at this past week’s Conference Cross Country Meet. Earning those positions names them to the All-Conference Cross Country Team.
We are in the post season for both Fall sports this week.
