Trinity Memo 11.21.16

BB Workers Schedule

Students:

Rev. Griess will lead us in chapel on Wednesday at 11:30. All are welcome to join us.

School will dismiss at 12:05 on Wednesday. There is no hot lunch at Trinity that day. There will be no school Thursday and Friday. Classes will resume on Monday, November 28.

Students are filling out course schedules. Students need to turn these in to Mr. Regnerus by November 30.

As we have already experienced, we are in the winter weather travel season. Weather related announcements will be communicated by way of radio (KDCR, KSOU and KIWA), and email to each family, and a scrolling marquee on the Trinity website. (Other sources of information might be entertaining, and sometimes they are even accurate, but they are not official J)

Exams will be December 19 and 20 and the morning of December 21.

2015 – 2016 yearbooks are for sale in the office. $25 each.

General Announcements:

From the Parents’ Circle: A hearty thank you to all who supported the Harvest Sale last Saturday. We see God’s hand in preventing us from having the sale on Friday, the scheduled date, but we give thanks that so many could still participate on Saturday. Sales for the auction totaled $8,640 and the free-will offering for the supper was $1068. The Parents’ Circle appreciates the support.

From our Athletic Director: I am still in need of volunteer help at home basketball games. Please see attached a workers schedule sheet with the home dates of games. Some of it is already filled in, but as you can see, I’m in need of people willing to take admissions yet, especially for the 6:00-8:00 shift. Looking for 3 people for each shift each game. Also have no one to fill the big shoes of Mike King as scoreboard operator for the varsity games. Really a pretty easy job to do and you get one of the best seats in the house. Please consider helping out for a couple of hours on a given night or two. If you are able to help out on any of the dates, please email me back and let me know which date you are willing to help and which job you are willing to do. Thank you in advance for helping out.

Mr. Van Engen, Athletic Director

The 1st home basketball games are already next week November 29 and Dec. 2!  The concession stand is in need of workers for Tuesday night, the 29th and Friday, Dec. 2.  We need 3 workers for the 1st shift beginning at 5:15 for both games and 3 workers for the second shift beginning at 7:00 for both games.  Let Laura Kuiper know if you are able to help out with any of these slots.   Be on the lookout for a sign-up sheet this week for the remaining games.
