Trinity Memo 5.9.22

Students:

Trinity Christian High Music Department will present its Spring Program tonight, Monday, May 9, beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Trinity’s gym. The band, both choirs, and combined choirs will each perform numbers. A collection will be taken for Trinity Christian. Join us in celebrating our risen Savior through music.

After tonight’s concert there will be a brief time of awards for our graduating class.

Rev. Koole will lead us in chapel on Wednesday, May 11, at 11:30 a.m. All are welcome to join us.

Our hot lunch this Wednesday will be our annual picnic. Steady volunteers Alden De Jong and Nick Kooiker will again be manning the grill.

There will be a 2:30 dismissal on Thursday, May 12.

Band students from Trinity Christian High School, Northwest Iowa Protestant Reformed School, and Hull Protestant Reformed Christian School will be having a program on Friday, May 13 at 7:30 p.m. in the Trinity gym. All are welcome to stay after the program for refreshments and fellowship.

Graduation exercises for the 11th graduating class of Trinity Christian High School will be held on Monday, May 16, at 7:00 p.m. The graduation will be held at the high school, and Rev. Laning will address the graduates from their class text of I Timothy 4:12. Everyone is welcome to join us in this milestone of our covenant young people.

Exams are next week Monday through Wednesday for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. The schedule is posted  below:

Please start checking around the house and in vehicles for books and uniforms that need to be returned to school. 

From the librarian: Library books should all be returned by next Friday, May 13. Please look around and return the books you are finished with.

General:

 Congratulations to Mrs. Bloemendaal! She has completed her course of study for a master’s degree in counseling. We appreciate her success and hard work for Trinity Christian High School.

Trinity Christian High School of Hull, IA, is seeking teacher applicants for the 2022-2023 school year. Our particular needs are math, Spanish, resource, and art, yet we have a measure of flexibility in teaching assignments. Trinity is looking for a Cross Country coach for next fall 2022.  If you are interested in this position, please contact Laura Kuiper.

1st Games for softball and baseball are May 23.  Schedules can be found on the War Eagle Conference page.

Monday, May 9:

  • Golf conference meet @ The Ridge in Sioux Center beginning at 10 a.m.

Wednesday, May 11:

  • District Golf meet @ Primghar Golf Course beginning at 10 a.m.

Thursday, May 12:

  • Track District meet at Lawton-Bronson beginning at 4 p.m. Track members will leave school at 2:15 p.m. I have one driver, Kassandra Brummel, for this meet, but need 2 additional drivers. Please let Mrs. Kuiper know if you are able to drive for this meet. Your help is appreciated.
