Trinity Memo 3.7.22

Students:

The 3rd marking period ended last Friday. Report cards will be emailed out on Monday, March 14.

Rev. Marcus will lead us in chapel on Wednesday, March 9, at 1:25 p.m. His topic is bullying. All are invited to join us.

Seniors, here is a reminder that your senior quotes for the yearbook are due to Maddy by this Friday.  Also, journalism is still missing a few pictures for the yearbook:  senior pictures still needed from Ava and Silas; a baby picture from Belle; and both senior and baby pictures are needed from Brody.  Please send those in as soon as possible.  Thank you!

The Freshmen and Sophomore classes at Trinity CHS are organizing a lasagna supper and volleyball tournament (co-ed teams of 6, high school and older) for Friday evening, March 11, at 6:00 P.M. All are invited to the event to enjoy lasagna and ice cream, watch volleyball, and enjoy good fellowship. Volleyball tournament teams must register by Wednesday, March 9. Contact Greg Gritters (ggritters@trinitychs.org) or Sara Huisken (shuisken@trinitychs.org) to sign up for this exciting fundraising event and for more information.

There is a large tote in the music room with many Lost/Found items in it. Please claim your items soon.

Please remember that attire for the Junior-Senior Banquet needs to meet the dress code as found in the Handbook. Further, there is a request from the Rolling Hills Golf Course that pictures not be taken there. It interferes with their paying guests, and too much foot traffic can cause damage to the greens. Additionally, law enforcement and Rolling Hills’ insurance provider view the parking situation as too dangerous. They ask for our cooperation in the matter.

General:

This past Tuesday the school Board brought contracts to our teachers. Teachers have until March 15 to sign the contracts. Please give prayerful remembrance to our teachers and Board during this time. A personal word of encouragement goes a long way also.

The all-school trip to Chicagoland is next week! Parents, look for a final email this week Wednesday with a blow-by-blow itinerary and final instructions/other information.

Trinity Christian High School of Hull, IA, is seeking teacher applicants for the 2022-2023 school year. Our particular needs are math and Spanish. Interested persons should contact education committee chairman Tim Postma (712) 470-3555 or principal Jim Regnerus (712) 470-0424 or jregnerus@trinitychs.org.
