Trinity Memo 1.10.22

There will be a 2:30 dismissal on Thursday, January 13.

Final schedule adjustments are due this week.

We are searching for a January replacement for the Dairy Queen that didn’t happen last week. Even our Fun Fridays are affected by the fast-food labor shortage!

Parents Circle Update:

Trinity Christian High School’s Parents Circle has many committees that care for the school, provide funds for some ancillary items, as well as show appreciation to the Christian Teachers.   In the coming weeks there will be highlights from most committees.  The goal of these writings is to inform those who may not be familiar with the committee’s labors and encourage people to join the Parents Circle and give of their time and talents to help support the school.

The first committee is the largest and maybe busiest parent circle committee, the Concessions Committee.  Amy Zevenbergen, Gretta Van Maanen, Lisa De Boer, Cheryl Kooiker, Laura Cleveringa, and Shari Wynia have been supporting the parent circle by stocking the concessions stand in cost effective ways.  They source the food from many locations (Sam’s Club, Grocery Stores, Hospitals, Cenex, and others) to find the best deals.  They organize the concessions room, plan how to serve food efficiently as well as transfer most of the concession items out to the Softball/Baseball diamonds during the summer.  Next time you pick up a hot dog or take your turn serving food in the concessions stand, be sure to thank the committee members for organizing top-notch concessions stand for everyone to enjoy.
