Trinity was represented well at the district individual speech contest at Sibley-Ocheyedan last Saturday, February 26. Dana DB, Belle S, and Jayda VE each received the highest rating in all of their events and are headed to the state competition on Saturday, March 12. Congratulations to all three of them!

Seniors, the journalism class is missing a number of items for the senior portraits yearbook pages yet. Please submit your senior picture as soon as possible. Additionally, senior quotes and baby pictures are due to Maddy (mvanginkel@trinitychs.org) by Friday, March 11. Also, a thank you to those of you who have submitted information in the past week!
Please remember that attire for the Junior-Senior Banquet needs to meet the dress code as found in the Handbook. Further, there is a request from the Rolling Hills Golf Course that pictures not be taken there. It interferes with their paying guests, and too much foot traffic can cause damage to the greens. Additionally, law enforcement and Rolling Hills’ insurance provider view the parking situation as too dangerous. They ask for our cooperation in the matter.
General:
The Board will be delivering contracts for teachers who are currently teaching on Tuesday, March 1. Please remember the Board and staff during this time. A word of encouragement goes a long way also. College graduates who are just entering teaching are offered contracts on April 1.
Plans continue for the All-school trip. Many of the covid restrictions for the city of Chicago expire today so we are thankful for that.
Parent Circle Update: The Parents Circle tries to have two meetings each year. The fall meeting is designated as an educational meeting, where a speaker gives a presentation about Trinity or a timely topic. The spring meeting is a business meeting with election of officers for the executive committee, voting on purchases, signing up for new committees, and voting on other items the executive committee presents to the society. As the spring meeting is approaching, please consider joining the Parents Circle society as well as serving Trinity Christian High School by signing up for a committee.
Trinity Christian High School of Hull, IA, is seeking teacher applicants for the 2022-2023 school year. Our particular needs are math and Spanish.
