Trinity Memo 2.15.17

This morning we were privileged to have a chapel led by Seminarian Feenstra.

The boys district basketball game tonight vs Clay Central Everly will tip off at 6:30. The game will be played at Hartley Melvin Sanborn High School and will be the first game of a double header. The second game will involve GTRA and HMS. Admission is $6 and is good for both games. If the Tigers win tonight they will take on Boyden Hull Thursday night at Boyden Hull High School. Game time for that will be 7:00.

There will be no school on Monday, February 20, for President’s Day.

The spring parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for Wednesday, February 22, according to the following schedule:

  • Noon to 2:00 PM, sign-up required—contact the school office to do so.
  • 6:30 – 9:00 PM, no sign-up required.

School will dismiss at noon on the day of conferences.

There is a private provider of youth driver education available. This might be an option for those families who were not successful getting enrolled in the local public schools’ driver education. The private provider is called Drive Tek. It is based out of Ankeny, but offers classes in Sioux Center. The cost is $370. Trinity is not an agent promoting Drive Tek, but as a service to our families, we are informing you that it is an option. Registration forms can be found online, or we have a few printed off in the school office.

Seniors are reminded to watch the scholarship application deadlines.

Students interested in taking the April 8 ACT have until March 3 to register. Registration is done online at
