On Friday, April 12, Trinity’s band students will be participating in the Dordt Band Festival. Students will leave from Trinity shortly following devotions. Students will need to be at school for devotions. They will be gone the rest of the day. Be looking for an email coming to each family with more details.

This past Saturday, 10 students performed different types of piano, string, saxophone, baritone, tuba, and vocal solos at South O’Brien High School for the IHSMA Solo/Ensemble Festival. Each of them performed very well earning 3-2 ratings and 7-1 ratings. Congratulations students on a job well done!

The junior/senior banquet has been rescheduled to Thursday, April 18. Juniors and seniors will be dismissed at 11:45 AM on Thursday, and they have no school on Friday, April 19.

Seniors, keep an eye on those scholarship dates!

Trinity Christian High Band, along with bands from Heritage and Covenant, will present a program on Thursday, April 11, at Trinity’s gymnasium. All the bands will give individual numbers along with a number of combined numbers. On Friday, these bands will also be participating in the Dordt Band Festival. That concert will be Friday evening in the BJ Haan auditorium beginning at 7 p.m. You won’t want to miss these programs!

The school Board has offered a 2019-2020 teaching contract to Miss Katrina Regnerus. Miss Regnerus is a senior at Dordt College and hails from Randolph, Wisconsin. In June, she will become Mrs. Derk Burgers, D.V. Please remember Miss Regnerus in prayer as she gives consideration to where she is called to labor.

We have signed an athletic director for 2019-2020! Mrs. Laura Kuiper will continue in her music position, add one period of remedial, and take up the athletic director position starting August 1, 2019. Let’s give her our full support by continued volunteering to help out at home games. We look forward to Tiger athletics flourishing with her leadership.

We are still looking for a 2019 cross country coach. See Mr. Regnerus for details.

Trinity is hosting the annual PRTI Teacher’s Convention next October. We last hosted in 2010. If anyone would like to get in early on the food committee, please inform Trinity’s office.
Our baseball and softball programs are in need of a four-wheeler, ATV, UTV, or similar device for the months of May and June. If anyone has access to one that can be loaned to Trinity for those two months, it would be a huge help. Good care of the machine is promised. It will be stored inside and used responsibly.

From the HPRCS Ladies Guild: The 3 on 3 Tournament is scheduled for April 13 at Trinity. Registrations and payments are due March 29. The registrations can be found in the school office or on the grade school website. Please fill them out and get those turned in soon. Email or text Kim Brummel with any questions.
