Trinity Memo 4.12.21

There will be a 2:30 dismissal this week Wednesday, April 14, so that the teachers can attend ‘live’ the PRTI spring speech of Professor Huizenga. His topic is “The Word of God as the Atmosphere of the Covenant Schools.” (This replaces the 2:30 dismissal on Thursday)

With the high school bands coming to the area, there will be an open gym at Trinity for all our high school students on Thursday night from 6:30 – 10:00 PM. *NOTE: Each band member family will need to provide 2 dozen cookies or goodies for Thursday evening social time with the other schools that will be here for our PR Band Festival. You can bring them to school any time on Thursday.

Jr/Sr Banquet 2021 is next week Friday, April 23! Juniors and seniors do not have school that day. An information sheet, including costs, will be sent home with juniors and seniors today. Please remember that the school dress code applies to all attendees of the banquet.

Trinity is looking to use a 3 wheeler or 4 wheeler again this summer beginning May 1 for the baseball and softball fields. If you have one you are willing to let Trinity use for the ball season, please contact Laura Kuiper. We use the four wheeler daily to prepare the fields for practice and games, so this is essential to the coaches to have available.

Trinity is still looking for a Boys Head Basketball coach. There are programs for the boys to take part in over the summer months and these need to be organized. Contact Laura Kuiper if you would be interested or if you have questions about the position.

We are also looking for a parent or adult to organize the JR High baseball program. The schedule is already made and we have coaches that have agreed to work with the boys, but need someone that is willing to be the contact person and head up the program. If you have questions or are interested you can contact Laura Kuiper or Jill Maassen
