Remember that Wednesday morning, April 1, is Grandparents’ Day for the senior class.
The band students will be attending band sectionals at Dordt College the morning of April 17. We are looking for drivers. Anyone who can help should contact Mrs. Kuiper. We leave at 8:15 AM.
Attention Baseball Players in grades 8-12: We will be having an informational meeting at 3:40 on Tuesday, March 24 in the TCHS music room. If you intend to play baseball this coming season, please plan to attend this meeting. Tuesday, March 31, is Eighth Grade Day. Eighth graders and their parents have received information letters concerning this event.
The school board has voted to extend a contract to Miss Hannah Van Maanen to fill our second semester position for the 2015-2016 school year. According to Federation guidelines, Miss Van Maanen will receive the contract April 1. She’ll have a two-week time of consideration. We are excited to have the possibility of hiring someone of Miss Van Maanen’s caliber, and we pray the Lord’s will is revealed to her as she gives consideration to the contract.
All families who will potentially have students at Trinity next year should have received a letter concerning bussing. Please take a moment to consider the letter and send a response to the school.
Congratulations to our robotics team. They enjoyed some success at the super-regionals in Des Moines even though they did not qualify to go on to the world competition. Thanks to all who contributed to their success.
The Trinity Christian Parents’ Circle annual spring business meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in the Trinity Choir Room. Are you a Parents’ Circle Member? The purpose of the Parents’ Circle is to promote the welfare of covenant children in home and school, to bring into closer relation the home and the school that the parents may cooperate intelligently in training of the children according to the truths found in the Holy Word of God and in the Three Forms of Unity, and to promote fellowship and provide financial aid to Trinity Christian High School. All members and new members who support Protestant Reformed secondary education are encouraged to attend this meeting.
