The fall Parent-Teacher conferences will be held tonight and tomorrow noon. The conferences will be held in each teacher’s classroom with the exception of Mrs. Kuiper (library) and Mr. Regnerus (his office). Each conference is scheduled for a seven-minute duration. We will not be running the bells, so we ask everyone’s cooperation in staying on schedule. We look forward to profitable conferences for the good of our covenant young people. Teachers plan to attend the Protestant Reformed Teacher’s Institute (PRTI) annual convention this week. Faith Christian School in Randolph, WI is hosting the convention. This year’s theme is “Teachers as Guides”, based on Psalm 25.
School will dismiss at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday, October 17, for conferences. There will be no school Wednesday through Friday, October 18-20, for teachers to travel to and attend the annual PRTI convention.
SRO Pollema will address the student body at an assembly Tuesday morning, October 17, at 8:35 a.m. His topic will be social media safety. All are welcome to join us.
The admissions rep from Northwest Iowa Community College will be meeting with interested juniors and seniors on Tuesday this week.
There are a few yearbooks still available for purchase in the office. The cost is $30.
