I was born in Pipestone, MN, and have lived in Northwest Iowa since the age of 10. I graduated from Dordt College in 1998 with a B.A. in Education and endorsements in Special Education and Social Studies. I taught 4th grade at Hull Protestant Reformed Christian School for 7 years, spent a few years teaching in the Resource Room there, and then went on to substitute for many years. I began teaching at Trinity Christian in the spring of 2023. I teach in the Discovery/Resource Room.
