Philippians 4:13 has been a favorite passage of mine for a long time, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” This passage guides me and the goals I make as a high school teacher to positively influence the lives of Christian young people. I love teaching at Trinity because we are able to study the order and function of God’s marvelous creation while openly discussing it in depth in classes.
I have been in the teaching profession in our Protestant Reformed Christian Schools for over 30 years now which would include 10 years at Covenant Christian in Grand Rapids, Michigan and 12 years in the junior high at Hull Protestant Reformed Christian School. I teach various science classes, PE classes, as well as a couple of business classes. I enjoy coaching various sports as well such as cross country, golf, and boys basketball. I am married and have 4 children and attend Calvary Protestant Reformed Church.
