Rev. Griess will lead us in chapel this week. All are welcome to join us at 11:30 AM.
The hot lunch for this week will be the annual student council sponsored picnic. We thank our local grill masters Alden De Jong and Nick Kooiker for once again lending their professional expertise on grilling the all-beef patties to delightful satisfaction.

The Travelling Trophy has returned to Trinity! Trinity’s Egg Launch team first won the egg launch competition at NCC in Sheldon in 2014. In 2015 the trophy went to Sioux Center, but 2016 sees its return to Trinity! Mr. Huizenga and team members Gys Huizenga, Dolan Boonstra, Jeremy Baker, Phil Boonstra, and Joel Baker constructed a catapult that launched eggs with superior distance and accuracy. They also scored points for their accompanying presentation. Congratulations to this innovative and adventurous group!

The robotics team is looking for a coach(s) to guide them through the 2016/17 FTC season. A coach need not be an expert in engineering or robotics, but some basic understanding of how things work will help. A desire to motivate and encourage students to explore talents from building the robot to managing time and developing speaking or game strategy skills is valuable. We need dedicated adults who are willing to invest some of their time to help students see new opportunities and have a lot of fun doing it. The First Tech Challenge organization has an abundance of helpful resources to support developing teams and coaches. http://www.firstinspires.org/robotics/ftc. For further information or questions regarding this need for a robotics coach, please contact Jim Regnerus 712) email@example.com) or Henry Van Maanen (712)578-1101 or firstname.lastname@example.org).
