Trinity Memo 11.11.19

Students:

This past Saturday, Dana De Boer, Keahna Heynen, Andrew Kuiper, and Sierra Meyer auditioned in Storm Lake for a spot in the NWIBA Honors Bands. They all represented our school well. Congratulations to Dana on Baritone, Andrew on Tuba, and Sierra on Alto Sax for being selected to one of the bands. Their performance will be on Saturday, Jan 4, in Sioux City.

There will be a 2:30 Dismissal on Thursday.

J-term registrations will be collected this week. Seniors today, juniors Tuesday, sophomores Wednesday, and freshmen on Thursday.
General:

Interested in visiting Europe? Mr. De Vries, teacher at Covenant Christian High School, is planning for another trip the summer of 2021. See Mr. Regnerus for an information packet.

From the Athletic Director:

Our first home Girls basketball game is just a few weeks away. We need MANY volunteers for taking gate. If you are willing to watch the games while taking admissions, please let Laura Kuiper know.
I will be trying to keep updates on the athletic emails. If you would like to have your name added to the email list, let Mrs. Kuiper know at lkuiper@trinitychs.org. I will get your name added.

Picture re-takes are Wednesday, Nov. 6. They will be taken at the Hull PRCS @ 8:15 AM.
Seniors and senior parents, if you are seeking help on the FAFSA, the Iowa College Access Network (ICAN) will host an evening of FAFSA completion assistance on Monday, November 4, 4:00-6:00 pm at NCC in Sheldon, Building B, Room 204. General:

This past Saturday Sierra Meyer, Aubrey Van Briesen, and Carson Zandstra auditioned for a spot in either the All-State Band or Chorus. They all represented our school well. Congratulations to Sierra Meyer on being selected to play Alto Sax with the All-State Band in Ames on Nov. 23.

Trinity Memo 10.21.19

Students:

There will be a 2:30 dismissal on Thursday, October 24.
First quarter report cards will be emailed to our homes by noon on Friday, October 25.

General:

The Trinity Christian High School Parent’s Circle will hold its fall meeting on Monday, October 21, at 7:30 p.m. Mr. Regnerus and Mrs. Bloemendaal will be giving a presentation regarding Trinity’s guidance counseling program with a question and answer time to follow. Trinity Memo 10.14.19

Students:

Juniors will be attending the college/career fair at NCC in Sheldon this morning, October 14.
Wednesday, October 16, will be the end of our first marking period. Report cards will be emailed out on October 25.

General:

Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, October 15 and 16. You may still sign up for a specific time on the google doc, or you can just come to conferences and wait around for an open slot with a teacher. Kindly remember that the focus of the conferences is the covenant young people. School will dismiss at noon on Wednesday.
